Born in Montreal, Canada in 1958, Michael Mikelberg received his law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School (Toronto) in 1982, was called to the Ontario Bar in 1985, and received his M.B.A. at the Schulich School of Business (York University) in 1987, where he won the James Gilles Award for excellence in the field of Business-Government Relations. Mr. Mikelberg joined The Luger Group in 1987. As a partner in The Luger Group Mr. Mikelberg has long been involved in lobbying various levels of government (municipal and provincial) through his work at the Urban Development Institute, Quebec’s representative of the commercial real estate industry where he recently completed a two year term as its Chairman of the Board.
